Sao

Sao is a Bishkek-based DJ, aspiring sound producer, filmmaker and teacher at Ailan DJ school. Known for her energetic and emotionally charged sets, she weaves together techno, trance, hardgroove as well as house, eastern and french melodies.

Her work has reached beyond local borders — including several underground parties and festivals like Stihia, Sublimation, Kolfest, Europe Summer Festival and live set on HÖR Berlin, where she brought the raw, unfiltered spirit of Bishkek’s nightlife to an international audience.

She also curates the “Jylañach Jürök” show on @rytmabad.radio (UZ) a platform for deep, heartfelt sounds and voices often left unheard.
