2XUM (UZ)

2XUM is a DJ and music producer from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and a resident of the SURR collective. At the core of his style is a rhythm at the intersection of tool and hardgroove, seamlessly interwoven with mysterious, hypnotic elements to create a dense and immersive sound.

His primary focus is on production and crafting his own unique sound. You can explore his work through his collaborative release “Ardibofassa” with Pitrat on Diffuse Reality, on a VA compilation by the Tashkent-based label DSL SYSTEM, and on the upcoming “Pitch Down” EP (Keepitraw.rec), with the title track already available on Bandcamp.

The artist actively performs at local events in Tashkent, collaborates with DSL SYSTEM and Rytmabad.radio, and provides mixing and mastering services for the local electronic music scene.
